BeReal Appoints Kainjoo .affairs for Web Engineering Excellence

Leading social media platform selects Swiss brand-tech firm to scale headless infrastructure and custom data streaming capabilities

GLAND, Switzerland – December 16, 2025 – BeReal, the authentic social media platform owned by Voodoo, has appointed Kainjoo affairs to lead strategic web engineering initiatives, building on a successful collaboration established through previous work with Wizz, another Voodoo portfolio company.

The engagement leverages Kainjoo’s proven expertise in scaling headless platforms and developing custom data streams on Google BigQuery, positioning BeReal to enhance its technical infrastructure as the platform continues its global expansion.

Kainjoo’s work with Wizz demonstrated the firm’s capability to architect scalable, headless solutions that support rapid growth in consumer-facing applications. This track record made Kainjoo a natural partner for BeReal’s next phase of technical evolution, where performance, scalability, and data integrity are critical to delivering authentic social experiences to millions of users worldwide.

The partnership will focus on modernising BeReal’s web architecture through headless implementations that separate front-end experiences from back-end logic, enabling faster iteration cycles and improved performance across devices. Additionally, Kainjoo will architect custom data streaming pipelines on Google BigQuery, providing BeReal with real-time analytics capabilities to support product decisions and operational excellence.

“Kainjoo demonstrated exceptional technical depth and execution speed during our collaboration on Wizz by BeReal,” said Sten Agnefjäll, representing Voodoo. “Their expertise in headless architectures and BigQuery data streaming made them the clear choice for BeReal. They understand the unique challenges of scaling consumer platforms in regulated environments, and we’re confident this partnership will accelerate our technical roadmap.”

“We’re honored to expand our relationship with the Voodoo ecosystem,” said Haider Alleg, Founder of Kainjoo. “BeReal represents the future of authentic social connection, and our work with Wizz gave us deep insight into Voodoo’s technical standards and velocity requirements. Our focus on headless platforms and custom data infrastructure aligns perfectly with BeReal’s mission to deliver genuine experiences at scale. This appointment reflects our commitment to supporting innovative platforms as they navigate growth while maintaining technical excellence.”

The collaboration marks Kainjoo affairs’ continued expansion in supporting high-growth technology platforms, particularly those operating in complex technical and regulatory landscapes.
